2017 Acura TLX is a medium-sized luxury sedan that delivers a hybrid drive. In addition to the standard version will offer and Type-S version with improved performance. Design of sedan is very modern with harmonious lines that merge into a unique concept. Changes on the exterior are minor and refer to: the front and rear lights, decorative mirrors, stylish alloy wheels and other details. The look is recognizable by the characteristic radiator grille, coupe roof-line and simple rear fascia. The interior layout has been updated with new colors and materials. Comfort is top and provides interesting ride. The drive system is equipped with two different gasoline engines and hybrid drive. The premiere is scheduled for the end of 2015 year at one of the next motor shows.

2017 Acura TLX – Specs

2017 Acura TLX drives 2.4-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine that produces 205 horsepower. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with double clutch that transmits power to the front wheels. The optional engine is a 3.5 liter V6 engine with 290 horses. The V6 engine is connected to ZF 9-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is estimated at 28 mpg in the first engine, and 25 mpg with the second engine. The hybrid system combines a conventional engine with an electric motor. The electric motor is fed via lithium-ion battery of high capacity. Detailed specifications will be announced later.

2017 Acura TLX brings an elegant interior design. Cab receives five passengers arranged in two rows of seats and adequate luggage space. At the central booth is the new touch screen, the instrument panel, automatic climate control, entertainment system, navigation and wireless communication. Safety features include Honda’s program of systems and devices that will make passengers be safe.

Price of new TLX is between $ 31,000 and $ 45,000. On the final price affects choice of engines and trim levels. Sales will begin in 2016 year.

    I hope the 2017 Acura TLX has some additional exterior colors. How about bronze. NOT copper, BRONZE. With some reasonable choices for interior. My wife walked from a brand new 2016 purchase saying, ” the colors are boring, let’s wait until 2017″.
