2016 Acura NSX Design
2016 Acura NSX is a second generation super-car with an engine that is located in the central part. For the first time this model was debuted in 1990 year, and after so many years presents a new concept. Design is entrusted to the American development center in Ohio. The engineers are bringing outstanding driving performances, while the engine configuration remains unchanged. The body is built on a multi-material space frame that will have greater strength and lightness. The use of aluminum, carbon fiber and high strength steels provide flexibility and performance. The new casting technology and multilayer materials provide excellent impact protection. Changing on the exterior brings a new bumper, LED graphics, dual air ducts on the hood, diffuser, spoilers and more.
2016 Acura NSX – Hybrid system
2016 Acura NSX launches new twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with three electric motors. The hybrid drive has a lithium ion battery T-shape positioned in the middle, two electric motors that drive the front wheels and a third electric motor that assists the a conventional engine on the rear wheels. The acceleration is achieved in 3.5 seconds while top speed is limited to 190 mph. The hybrid system delivers 550 horsepower. Install is a 9-speed automatic transmission with double clutch that transmits power to all wheels via SH-AVD system. Engine cooling is provided by double inter-cooler on the sides. New technologies reduce fuel consumption. Detailed specifications will be announced later.
2016 Acura NSX – Interior
2016 Acura NSX offers sporty interior design and luxurious materials. Alcantara leather and carbon fiber will in case seats. The center console was received the audit switch and function compared to the previous model. The new air vents and functional steering wheel will completely change the look. The cockpit is oriented towards the driver and security is at a high level thanks to an improved brake system, special tires and stability control systems. The instrument panel has a new graphics, while the black color became dominant in the cabin. The biggest competitors are the Ferrari 488 GTB, the Audi R8 and BMW i8.
